Sophomore Year!

Wow! So, so much for that summer post i talked about with all the pictures!! haha It seems like I have been going non-stop since then! I'm all moved in here at B-town and almost done with my second weeek of school!! Its great!! I'm in a much more positive mood about it all this time around!! With an actual appartment and not a 6 ft by 6ft room it seems like an actual home!! Here are a few pictures of the appartment:

I love Zebra Print, can ya tell?! haha Classes are going really well so far. I'm taking Chemistry, Calculus, Medical Termonology from Greek and Latin, Personal Fitness, Microcomputers and Equine assisted living. I really like my med terms class! It sounds kinda hard but it is just a lot of memorizing. It actually makes a lot of things make sense! I also really like the equine assisted living class. I will volunteer at PALS- a ranch where children with disabilities can come and ride once or twice a week to help with rehab. I just went through orientation and I can already tell I'm going to love working with the kids and the horses!! I also got a job!!! Exciting, I know. It is only two days a week but I'm excited. I will be a cheer instructor at an elementary school here in Bloomington!!

Here's just a couple more pictures I wanted to share!! Last week Grandpa and I went to the first IU football game of the year! It was against Eastern KY and we won!!! The second picture is of mom and Peyton and all the horses!! (getting them ready to lead for the antique show!!)

Summer 2009~Where did it go?!

10 days till I move back to Bloomington. 27 days until my summer is officially over and I am back to school. Wow where did my summer go?! I managed to not post anything all summer so I will try to catch everyone up without writing a book! I have some pictures to post but my next post will be all pics from the summer when I can get home and get them all off of my computer! It actually helps to look through all my pictures just to remind me what I did all summer! I guess I got the picture taking gene from all of my aunts!! So I guess I'll begin at the begining of the summer! I got a great job working at Crane Federal Credit Union. I am a teller and I move around from branch to branch (Washington was my main place, and probably my favorite) I really like it and I enjoy working with everyone, but I don't think I would want to do it for the rest of my life. On to June...not much happened in June, unless you count Jess and Nic's wedding-not really a big deal! ha The wedding was amazing! Beautiful, and nearly perfect!! Some other exciting things in June: of course the Daviess County Parade!! ha and I got a new car which I thought was pretty exciting :) I miss ol' Lola sometimes but I'm pretty happy with my new car (My friends and I haven't found the right name for this one yet, for some reason Lola really stuck last time! ha) The begining of July I went to Country Concert 2009!! It was a ton of fun! There were 21 artist total, Sugarland, Montgomery Gentry, and Brad Paisley were just a few. Definately going back next year!! Jess and Matt's birthdays were both on the 16th. I got Jess tickets to Kenny Chesney, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland and Miranda Lambert-I'm pretty pumped about that one too!!
All in all, it has been a GREAT summer!! A lot of things have changed for me. Unfortunately some friendships fell apart but I have gained many too, and I know that it will all work out. I have had some ups and downs but I am just focusing on living life for the day and letting go of a lot of things.
Like I said I have a few pics now from our "mini vaca" (props to Abbie for that word!!) this past weekend. Dwain Jolliff is in the marines and is doing his schooling part at Camp Johnson in North Carolina. Its only like a 13 hour drive so why not take a little roadtrip, right?! ha. We loaded up Thursday night and arrived around 9 or 10 Friday morning. Our group consisted of myself, Chelsea, Harb, Mitch, and Sam Stone (Dwain's girlfriend). Dwain knew that Mitch was coming but the rest of us were supposed to be a surprise! Dwain was really excited that we came and we all had a great time. He brought two of his roommates along to so we got to know them too! We went to he beach, out to dinner a couple times, and just hung out at the hotel. I am so proud of Dwain and the guy he has become!!
Here are a few pics!

Our last Day :( Eric,Harb,Dwain,Mitch, Ryan, Sam, Me and Chels outside of the resturant..
On The beach!!

These are Sam's footprints in the sand along with the footprints poem. Chels and I tried so hard to get a good pic of footprints! ha I was pretty happy with this one!

Sorry this was somewhat long!! There was a lot to write about and still I am leaving out SO much!! There will be more when I post some more pictures!!

It has been FOREVER since I have wrote on here!! I read people's blogs almost everyday but I can never seem to sit down and write what is going on in my life. I have less then a month of my freshman year left :) Most of you already have heard about my little wreck that I had. I was on my way to my mom's from my dad's. I ran off the road and overcorrected and my car landed sideways on the road. I walked away without a scratch though. There really hasn't been anything that exciting, or worth writing about, going on in my life right now. This Sunday we went to Aunt Lea's for Easter.( The Osmon's side) Here are some pictures from there :)

Catching Up!

So it has been a LONG time since I updated! And I have no excuses for not writing! ha Last week was my spring break and it was SO much fun. Even though I wasn't able to go somewhere tropical like Flordia, but Daviess County was enough for me! I can honestly say that I did basically nothing over break--and LOVED every minute of it!! My roommate Hanna came down and stayed with me most of the week. We spent some time over at Anna's and at Jessica's. We went 4-wheeler riding some and on one of our rides Hanna and I were riding together and she told me she now understands why I come home all the time. I told her she was welcome to come back with me anytime she wanted!! I subbed one day at the grade school and one day at the high school. Another day was spent shopping at Evansville. And the other days were spent just relaxing :) Friday we went to Matt's sister's house (who is an AMAZING cook) to make candy for Jessica's wedding. Hanna came with me to that too!! And of course the Regional Game and Semi State games!!! I have to admit I was still a little bitter I wasn't out there cheering, but I am so proud of the girls and the basketball boys!!! It was hard to come back this week!! But I got back into the groove pretty quickly :) I officially changed my major Monday. I am loving the nice weather he...We have our window open and it feels great outside!!! It just puts me in a wonderful mood :) I hope everyone else has a great day as well!!

One test and two classes and I am on Spring Break!! This week has been GREAT so far!! (slight sarcasm there) Sunday was very eventful! I went to church then to Anna's for a family thing. Unfortunately it got cut short due to the threat of storms :( I think it was the shortest Beasley gathering I have ever been to! ha... I went back to Jessica's for supper and we sat in the front window and watched the storm and then watched everyone in the county drive through Raglesville to look at storm damage. And then of course we had to drive around and look too!!Monday night Hanna came with me back to the final game of sectional. Good job ND! Tuesday I shadowed my athletic training person and as I was sitting there watching the IU tennis team practice I realized this is not what I want to do. I called my mom after and broke down. Athletic Training would take up so much time and for me it is just not worth it. I ultimately want to do Physical Therapy anyway, and I still plan on it. One of my biggest "fears", if it is considered that, is dissappointing people. And I felt like if I didn't follow through with my original plans I would be letting people down. But after I got off the phone with my mom I felt ten times better. People change their majors all the time. Its ok. So now I am planning on majoring in Exercise Science with maybe a minor in Kinesiology and still taking classes to get into Physical Therapy school....needless to say I am beyond ready for break!!

Another Week...

Normally I would try to write on Monday but I barely had time to think yesturday let alone write on here. I had classes all day and went to volunteer at the YMCA. On top of all the crazyness I also have a cold. Hanna has to be getting annoyed with my constant coughing and complaining but she just askes if there's anything she can do! Did I ever mention I have an AMAZING roommate!! I got really lucky on that one. You hear all these horror stories about people having terrible roommates and being miserable, well that is definately not my case! We are inseperable and most people think we have known each other all our lives. We have late night talks that sometimes end in tears-either from laughing so hard or for other reasons. The only time we aren't together normally is when one of us is in class or on the weekends (we both enjoy our weekends at home). And even though we basically spend every waking moment together we still have not fought!! We both had a rough start and thought about transferring but we helped each other through it and now we are living together next year and I can't wait!!
Now its time for me to get some homework and studying done :( I have a busy week ahead of me..two tests and two assignments and a group assignment all due this week..man, I love college! ha

I know its been forever since I have posted on here but everytime I sit down to write it seems like I just get side tracted! So easy for me to do, unfortunately! ha So I guess I should start from when I posted last time. Valentine's Day at the farm show was actually a lot of fun! We met Mitch down there too since it is close to him. It was nice seeing him and meeting some of his friends. That night we went to the tractor pull! This was not my first tractor pull, however it was the first tractor pull that I actually stayed for more than 30 minutes at. (It was a little more exciting than the Daviess Co. Fair tractor pulls!) Last week was pretty uneventful. I had a couple tests but that was about it! This past weekend I went home, surprise surprise ha. Saturday I had breakfast with my daddy which was extremely good :) That night we all went to Harb's house to visit because Brittany was home. Our group of friends has always gotten along really well and its nice to get us all together a lot. Sunday I went to church and then Matt, Mom, and I went to Mi Pueblo, keeping up our little tradition that we started. It was the second time that weekend I ate there but I definately wasn't complaining! Today they were in town so we went to lunch again then I had to give a speech in one of my classes. Writing the speech was a breeze (it was a maid of honor speech for Jessica's wedding) but giving it was a completely different story! Thankfully I didn't pass out or anything like that! ha Thats about all I have for know! Here are some pictures from this weekend:

Busy!

So I know it has been awhile but I have been super busy it seems like lately! Last week was the worst. I had an Anatomy Exam on Friday and then an Anatomy Lab Exam this past Tuesday, so most of my time has been devoted to studying for that most of the time! I also had another exam on Thursday so I had to make time to study for that as well!! Last Wednesday was one of my most hectic days. I had a speech due in my public speaking class, I then go straight to the YMCA after that to volunteer with the gymnastics class, then I come back right in time to make it to my sociology class! Then that particular Wednesday I was asked to babysit Jan's (works with my mom) grand daughters. There were two of them and they are probably the sweetest girls ever. They went to be at a decent time so I snuck in a little studying there too! (It seems like thats all I do!) The weekend was a nice little break. I stayed at IU Friday night because we had a review session for Anatomy Saturday morning. Some of Hanna's friends from home came and we went to eat at Texas Roadhouse and then went and saw He's Just Not That Into You. Great movie by the way! Saturday night was homecoming back home so of course I went to that :) This week has been pretty blah so far, not real eventful! ha I had my Anatomy lab exam on Tuesday so I spent most of Monday and Tuesday studying for that. Oh and last night this illusionist came to the IU auditorium. Brock Gill. He was Amazing!! Hanna and I went and we were SO glad we did. He did a lot of different stunts, he even caught a bullet in his mouth!! Youtube him, I'm sure he's on there! ha
Today I am just doing some house (dorm) cleaning and laundry :( oh and of course studying!! haha I am once again ready for the weekend! This Saturday I am going to Louisville to the farm show!! ha not exactly how I thought I'd spend Valentines Day but I am sure it will be fun!
I also decided to spruce up my blog. It was time for a change! hope you like!
Here are some pictures from this weekend!

SNOW!!

Last night Hanna and I decided to make one of our usual ice cream runs! (We make them a lot! haha) So we made our way to the food court which is in our building but we still have to go outside to get to it. When we walked outside we realized they weren't kidding about all the snow!! It was coming down in BIG flakes :) I was so excited! I hadn't gotten to play in the snow all winter so this was perfect! It was nine o'clock and I had an 8 am but the teacher usually cancels the class if its bad weather, so I was banking on that!! (And I was right! 2 out of 3 of my classes got canceled today :) So we called Derrick and told him to put on warm clothes because we were going to play in the snow! Hanna and I got ready..I had 4 layers of clothes on!! Then we headed over to Teter. When we go over there of course Derrick wasn't ready! I was sweating by this time and ready to go! So Derrick told us to go ahead and he'd be out in a minute. Well we didn't want to go by ourselves so Park said he would come with, then a few more thought it looked fun! So we went out and made snow angels and attempted to make snow balls! (It wasn't sticking!) Pretty soon the entire floor was out side playing! Someone even said we were on IUTV! We played football and then just goofed around! I guess everyone thought Hanna and I were easy targets because we spent more time on the ground then standing!! We are both a little sore today!! It was a lot of fun and I really am going to miss a lot of them next year. It didn't really hit me and Hanna until last night that we have made really good friends with all of them and next year won't be the same without them! We spend a lot of time over at Teter for Monday night football or catchphrase nights or just to hang out. Here are a few pictures from last night!!
Park, Keaton, Sam, Hanna, Me and Ben: Ben taking me out!:
This pretty much sums up the night! haha:

"Its amazing how much bending the human body can take without actually breaking!"-Hanna haha Tallal and Keaton beating me up! I have no idea what I would do without them!! Ben, Derrick, Hanna, and Me

Honesty..

I have just been thinking a lot lately about many different things so this first part is just me rambling on on about what is going on in my mind at this moment...I'm sorry if its kind of here and there but I am just typing whatever comes to mind, something that I usually refrain from doing.

Well today has been a pretty good day! As I'm walking to class things often pop into my mind that I could write on here about! (Sad I know haha) I've been thinking a lot just about life in general. I am a firm believer in the fact that everything happens for a reason. All the things I have been through, good or bad, happen for a reason. When I think I am going through something tough I just think that some people have it way worse. Ya, my first couple weeks here at IU were miserable pretty much, as I have said before. But some people don't even have this chance. Something that kept me going through that time was just the fact that I did not want to dissappoint anyone. One of my biggest fears in life is failure. When I don't want to study or wake up for those 8 am classes I just think that in the long run I will be happy I did. I don't want to have to depend on anyone. Of course I want to get married and have a family, don't get me wrong. But I want to be able to provide for myself if something would happen..I guess I think about that a lot. The future scares me. I know exactly what I want to do: 3 more years at IU for athletic training after this year and then 3 more years after that at Physical Therapy school...But I am also full of doubts..What if I don't make it into the Athletic Training program, or what if I don't get into PT school after 4 years of planning my life for that..where am I going to live those 6 more years? Will I still have the friends I have now? Will I meet someone?......But then I think Oh my gosh I am a freshman! Why am I worrying about this?! haha I know that my amazing family and fabulous friends will always be there for me no matter what.

Ok thats enough of that..like I said today has been a good day so I'll just let you know a little about it!
This morning I woke up bright and early for my 8 am. Lifespan Development. I don't really know what I was expecting for that class, but I can honestly say that I'm definately not at good ol' North Daviess anymore! Wow! The teacher is ummm, very honest. He's not afraid to talk about anything! Which in a way is a good thing because its entertaining and keeps us awake in those early hours of the morning haha I went over to the mall for just a little bit after that mostly just to get out of the room. Then it was time for my gymnastics class, which I love love LOVE! ha It is a required class for PE majors so it based mainly on the teaching aspect but it is still so much fun. We get to spot each other so we still get to do some skills. The teacher is really nice and allows to have fun and goof around but also get stuff done. Everyone in the class is really nice and everyone gets along. Also 75% of our grade is based on us volunteering at the local YMCA with the gymnastics classes and I am so excited!!
Well that is enough for today i believe!!

CHRISTMAS BREAK

WOW, so i know it has been a little bit since I have written on here, but it was break so thats my excuse! Break was GREAT! Thats about the only way I can describe it! I loved just being home. I would love to tell you all of what I did over break, but that would take way too long to type! I spent a lot of time with friends. Some of us may have changed a little bit since we have been together but when you get us all together its the same as usual! I had so much fun with all of them. Christmas was amazing! I love holidays and Christmas is no different! I love spending time with my family..I love them all so much and I know I say that all the time, but I just can't say it enough! Like I said break was great and that made it just that much more tough to come back to school. I was excited for all of my classes, but of course just being here makes me miss my family..but don't worry I'm not even considering transferring!! haha
So I guess I'll tell you a little bit about my day so far! 6:30 am came WAY too early this morning! I have an 8 o'clock class everyday (minus Friday!! My teacher today told us that he didn't feel the need to have class at 8 am on Friday and of course the class all agreed!!) I have a full load this semester, 19 credit hours!! Fun fun, right?! I have a break now for a bit, heres a list of my classes:
*Anatomy-Its required for my major and will be tough, but I am excited about it anyway! That kind of stuff interests me
*Intro to Athletic Training: Also required and I am WAY excited about! We get to shadow an older Athletic Training Student...the only down side is that the class is all the way at Asembly Hall, where they play the basketball games, which is cool-but it is quiet a haul from my door...I'll believe i'll drive from now on to that one! haha
*Theories in Advanced Conditioning- This one shouldn't be bad and the teacher seems nice!
*Life Span Development
*Sociology
*Public Speaking
*and a Stunt/Jump/Tumbling Class: I haven't been to this one yet but I hope its fun and not just a lecture!! haha

Well thats about it! I'm sorry I don't have any pictures from break, but it would be way too hard to decide which ones to post!! I hope everyone had a wonderful break! Ill update soon! Love you all!!
